Large & Unusual Tree Contest

Sponsored by the City of Wayne, Nebraska Forest Service, and UNL Extension - Wayne County
To help celebrate the city of Wayne’s 125th anniversary during the summer of 2009, there will be a Large and Unusual Tree Contest to help identify and honor the largest and most unusual trees growing in Wayne. Owners and nominators (if different from the owner) will be recognized with Wayne Q125 Large and Unusual Tree Certificates during the community celebration August 7-9, 2009. Winning trees will be identified in a flyer with a picture of the tree and location (if approved by the owner).
